Now you can concentrate on going faster.  

There are generally two reasons for hitting cones:

1)  You have lost control of the car.

2)  You have perfect control of the car, but your intended line is too close
to the cones.

Figure out the reason for hitting the cones, and adjust your driving 
accordingly.
 Cone hits are good.  Without them, it is difficult to learn how to go faster.
