I have experienced an over 75% failure rate with Harbor Freight "Chicago"
tools. Plus they take "forever" to get you a return mailing label and "3
times forever" to get you credit on your charge card.

Other than that, they are great ;-).

We finally ordered one of the 12V impact wrenches from Harbor Freight, the
cheapo Chicago Elecrtic one ( I think it was $39). We got it and it just
spins, never actually impacts, so it can't turn the nut. I'm pretty sure I
read on here that people have used this one...what are your experiences with

it? I'd exchange it for one that works, but the whole thing feels and looks

cheap, down to the gramatical errors on the packaging.

Are there any other higher-quality units out there, 12V or battery, that
don't cost over $150? A friend has a battery powered snap-on one that works

great, but he paid about $350 for it.
