I have been lucky enough to run both a 355 and a 360 Ferrari thanks to Dan
Spalding, as some of you know, the lack of classing is why Dan bought the
2000 Corvette I won SS in at Nationals this year ( we wanted to run the 360,
but couldn't, that explains the Ferrari crests on the Vett).
I brought the Idea of a "US" or "unclassed stock" class to Howard this year
in Kansas, he told me to try to get it going in our region and see if it
works which is what I plan on trying to do.
Basically it would be any stock car not classed, on the exclusion list or
classed in ASP as is, stock only no mods (except tires)
As for being competitive, I won the Seattle tour in the 360, and I think it
would have done well at nationals, but it is a big car and I don't think it
would have beaten the Vett, but it would have been a blast!!
