Someone wants to rent my car to run Solo II events.
Question: What is a reasonable per-event rental?
I'd like to know if anyone out there is renting a ride on such a basis --
preferably Prepared or Modified drivers, as I think the expenses involved
somewhat different than those for Stock and Street classes.
By "Per-event" I mean an average event at which the driver would take 3-4
runs. By that definition, a National or a Tour or a Pro would be double as
it is, essentially, two events. Rental assumes I get the car there, ready to
go, and pay all the attendant expenses (towing, tires, gas) except the
renter's entry fee and other personal expenses. For the renter, it is an
arrive-and-drive.
I need some serious numbers, please. I have number in mind, looking for some
idea if it is reasonable, outrageous, or too much of a gift.
