Hmmmm. During one period when I was watching (Heat 4 or 5 Tuesday) those
three south course finishline cones got hammered a bunch. There was one
young conechaser there who, every time the cones got hit, RAN over there
from the center of the circle, set all three up again, RAN back, and was
plenty clear for the next car. I never saw the next car redflagged. Dunno
who that was, but he was GOOD -- and workers like that IMHO are a major
reason this nearly 1100-driver event skipped along as efficiently as it did.
Cars were running only 18-20 seconds apart.
