As I said, I don't know the minute details of this protest. I have been
told that Russell's timing was RETARDED beyond factory specs. If that is
the case, I can understand why he appealed the protest, and I still think
the PC's penalty was fair. (if that really was the case, what I really
think is that the protest should have been withdrawn by the good sportsmen
competitors in H Stock)
Had his timing been marginally out of spec in a more helpful manner, I'd
still agree with their penalty. I would only expect more of a penalty if
his timing was way out of spec.
