Since most autocrosses require all cars to have noise levels of roughly
"street legal" levels, I think you are beyond the pale. Club-racing limits
are considerably higher than "street legal", and many tracks are at 101, I
think.
I know this is a real problem for a NA RX7. They are notoriously difficult
to quiet down without losing power.
The way to make them quiet and powerful is to use the muffler with the
moving parts, but that's hardly legal in ITS...
