Don't quite know what to do about it afterwards, (try Bug and Tar
remover?) but I can tell you how to prevent it....put a coat of wax on
the side that contacts your car. Don't wipe the wax off, the whiter the
better. Magnetics can do other ugly things too, and this should prevent
it.
