Must have been when I squirted the TNN guys for standing too close when we
were trying to do a pit stop! We had so little space in the hot pit area
that it was very difficult to get everyone in position before the stop. So I
gave them one warning shot across their bow, then hosed 'em down with the
windshield sprayer when they wouldn't move!
Thanks for the note; I will pass it on to Darryl and Alex when they come
down from cloud nine. Greg

Subject: Congrats to Daytona winners!! (our guys!!)
Congratulations to Daryl Havens (driver) and Greg Fordahl (team engineer)
and the rest of the Alix Job "team Seattle" crew for fist place finish in
GT3
at the 24 hours of Daytona! What a great job, not only first in class, but
6th
overall and fist GT car period (beating GT2 by several laps) not bad for a
couple autocrossers!
Also, Randy Pobst and the TC Kline BMW M3 finished the race in 4th or
fifth
place in GT3! if you didn't see it, it was a good race, and Team Seattle
raised over $250,000 for the hospital! WOW.
Many other Seattle area drivers besides Daryl and Greg also did well, Don
Kitch, Kim Wolfkill, Mike Conte, Wade Gahrun (don't know how to spell his
name) Nick Holt, and many more, it was very cool to see how many names I
knew
this year!
