I understand the same crank was used on the 1592 alpine engines as in the
hillman minx etc... just the centre bearing cap was stronger for the alpine.
( I am gladly wrong if womeone wants to correct me). If so, I have a few of
these cranks in worn but sound unground condition, could even be better than
an alpine crank as people rarely revved their minxes above 4500 (max power
at 4400) Would these fetch the same amount?
