Jim,

One the positive side (for Alpine and MX5/Miata owners), this more compliant 
ride
has some advantages on the real roads of Australia, which are often bumpy and
uneven.  One does not have to divide ones time between correcting the oversteer
caused by the rear end launching itself off the road due to lack of suspension
compliance  and catching the fillings shaken from ones teeth.
