A quick check of that serial number in the Book of Soreman reveals that that
extinguisher has since been discharged. It would be so easy for an
unscrupulous person to replace its contents with AFFF, Halon, or PKP from an
Alpine's Fire extinguisher. That is why Ian Spencer has established the
"International Registry of Rootes Fire Extinguishers". Don't buy ANY Fire
extinguisher until you visit his site, or send it through the FEUCK (Fire
Extinguisher Unofficial Commitee Kooks) inspection
