No offense John (and others), there was an _under 25k_ provision here.
I'll throw in my tuppence - a 914/6, although that might be tough for
$25k. I've never driven a Porsche, but I'd like to despite their coming
from "the dark side". I'd also love a 2500M. I have driven one of those.
Totally kool, especially after I built the motor. Yeee-ha! Staying under
$25k - a Factory Five spec racer would be a ton of fun (but getting the
job done under $25k might be a chore.) I'd also add a 2000-2004 (I think
those are the years) Corvette Z06 to the list, those can be had cheap and
they go like stink.
I can list more, but I ran out of money before I started fantasizing. :-)
The $25k limit is the hard part - and there are still some kool cars out
there for that kind of money. But if I had $25 to spend - to be honest -
I'd get a TR8 FHC, a GT6 MkII and either a 2500 or a 2000 Saloon. Hmmm,
not a "drop-head" in the lot! Must be all this rain we've been having of
late.
