If you need to drill a hole and drive out your fork pin it is
probably broken or compromised. A new pin is cheap insurance, and I
would recommend that ANY time you go in to the clutch, the pin should be
replaced. They are trouble prone so your maintenance must be of top
quality.
Cross drilling and pinning is also strongly recommended.
