Richard----I couldn't view this car when going to the E-bay site, as it
showed to be an "invalid number". Still, a 140mph TR6 is do-able. All it
takes is around 6600 rpm in fourth gear, or 5200 in fifth, or OD. Oh
yeah, and about 190 hp, as near as I could figure.
Kastner claims he did 128 mph in a "warmed up" TR-250 at Daytona, using
all of the areodynamic tricks he could think of on a stock-bodied car.
He didn't mention the hp, but given what he said was changed in the
motor, I'd guess it was close to 150.
