OK call me a masochist. I am in the process of rebuilding by rear axle due to a broken pinion gear. I got a used ring and pinion to install, but I am having trouble removing the differential bearings (these are tapered roller bearings). There are two recesses for a puller to grab on to, but the recesses are pretty narrow and semi-circular. Does anyone on this list have experience removing these bearings, and if so what was used to remove them? John Lumia - 1976 TR6 |
