I just completed the adjustment of the Rocker Arms as I get ready for the spring. My question (though it may be silly) deals with a statement in the Haynes Owner Workshop manual stating "An alternative method is to set the gaps with the engine running, and although this may be faster it is no more reliable" (page 43, paragraph 59.9). I've never adjusted the rockers with the engine running. Can anyone explain to me how to actually do this and what the pros/cons are? Thanks, Mark '72 TR6 |
