Al---Is the 15lb. of oil pressure you reported at a hot idle, or at road
speed? 15 at idle isn't bad.  I don't think any oil you used would have
changed what you hear on that fateful trip. The cause of the noise could
be anything from a rocker adjustment nut coming loose to a rod bolt. It
should be easy to diagnose in the shop that as it now. You'll have to go
from there. If you were cruising with only 15lb. of oil pressure, we'll
all cross our fingers...
