Neil, Robert & All,
The TR6 Simulator at Mike's TR6 World uses both sound and video of a TR6.
Go to http://www.tr6world.com and follow the TR6 Simulator Links.
You must have the Authorware plug in if you want the simulator to work. So
far, the only browser that seems to work with the simulator is Internet
Explorer 4.0 or greater. Here is the link to the authorware IE plug in.

Netscape people can try this link.

Once you have the player loaded, you can drive by going here
http://www.tr6world.com/drive.htm
Sound is a mix of two different cars. Car Starting, Idle and cruise in all
4 gears is my 1974 TR6 and the running up through the gears before the
cruise in each gear is of a TR6 racer.
Be patient with the plug in and the actual simulator download times, it may
take a while. Once you let the car warm up and let the sound files fully
load in each gear (let each gear run for about 15 seconds both up and down
shift) it is pretty cool to watch, shift and hear!
Enjoy,
Mike Brinker
