Overdrive Repair Service in the UK is supposed to be owned and staffed by
ex-Laycock employees. About a year ago they quoted me a price that included
everything to convert a non-OD TR transmission to an A-type overdrive, and
the price including shipping (at the current $1.45/pound Sterling exchange
rate) is under $1,000. I was planning to buy from them, but have waited
because I don't have a running car yet, and don't want to let the warranty
expire before installing it.
Has anyone dealt with them?
