This 15-18 mpg gas mileage is definitely too low. I get about 27 mpg
highway with the triple stromberg setup, cam, headwork, etc. I'm
getting about 20 mpg city. When stock, I got about 30 mpg highway.
Last year my car started getting horrible gas mileage and running way
rich. I had the carbs rebuilt by Gary Martin, and apparently the jets
were worn out of round, causing rich mixture. Apparently wearing of
the jets can happen over 25 years of driving. Jim-I would get new jets
and needles in your carbs.
