Just a line to say thanks to everyone who has responded about the lack of
power in the 1975 2000.
It's not fixed yet, but that it is cos the car is not available for further
research while my son is working away from his home this week.
Will keep you updated.
My own theory is that it is most likely a breaking down of the HT. The lack
of all cylinders working and limited revs happens as soon as the pedal is
put to the metal, therefore there has not been time for the float chambers
to have emptied.
We shall see...
