If you are interested in attending let me know and I’ll develop an e-mail list for those who want to continue to get updates on the 2017 FOT event in Illinois next June 16-18. As has been previously announced Jason Ostrowski and I are proud to be organizing the 2017 Kastner Cup.  The 15th iteration of this great event will be hosted as the featured event at the 2017 VSCDA Blackhawk Classic at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Rockton, IL on June 16-18, 2017.  For those that remember, VSCDA was the host organization for the 2013 Road America Kastner Cup and both groups came away from that event with great things to say about the other.  Our discussions with VSCDA thus far have been extremely positive.  I believe you will find this event to be the best of both worlds - small enough to feel like a throwback to simpler times but extremely well run with great amenities.  The track is perfect for small bore production racing and the spectating is simply second to none.  There is nowhere on the track that can't be accessed for watching close racing action trackside plus there is an observation deck where seven corners can be seen from a perch in the middle of the paddock.  Power hookups and great showers make camping simple if that's how you like to spend your race weekends but with Beloit and Rockford nearby there are plenty of options outside the track as well.  We will have a large section of the paddock reserved for FOT and the Kastner Cup supporters.  

The host hotel for the event with the Hampton Inn Beloit which is located 15 minutes from the track.  At this time there are 25 rooms blocked for FOT for Thursday the 15th to Sunday the 18th.  The rate for the rooms is $120.60/night.  Contact information for the hotel is:

I know for those of us in the throws of mid season prep and/or repairs June of next year seems far off but we all know it will be here before we know it so plan now!  Please let us know if you are planning to attend - we'd like to promote the cars that plan on being there.  In addition to updates on FOT, we have set up a Facebook page specifically for the 2017 Kastner Cup.  I am looking at options for a web page as well for you non social media types.  I will also be working closely with VSDCA on cross promotion.  So.... here is some information to keep handy:

I have also attached a .pdf of a flyer that we hung up/passed out at the Weathertech Challenge at Road America last weekend.  We'll continue to spread these at each track we go to and I would ask any of you that can to bring them to car shows, club events, etc. where you think there might be interest.  The bar on the Kastner Cup gets set higher every year and we are striving to make next year's event a must do on all Triumph enthusiasts' lists.
