Ok,
Mosport is behind us and by the end of this weekend so will mid-Ohio. SO
now you know both you and your car are still together. SO get your entry in
for PVGPA Historic races at BeaveRun! This is the best kept secret around.
Super fun track and do not turn your head up at this track if you think it's
to short! Do you like LimeRock? Well this one has it beat hands down! Back
straight that can handle all the speed you can find to give! And enough
technical stuff to keep you as busy as you may want to. And it is safe! Easy
to get around as a first timer, difficult to really master.
We have classes for everyone, pretty much. A true Trans-Am and a Vintage
LeMans FVee seem to love it as do FFord, Club Ford and Air Cooled Super Vee.
I have raced a pre-war car here, the Ardent Alligator, A fairly big car,
XK120 and a smallish car MGA and had an absolute blast in all of them. I
have ground my teeth flat as director of competition watching a knot of 15
FFords heading for the downhill turn 1 and grinned ear to ear as Camaro,
Mustang, Porsche come cresting over the hill sweeping onto the back straight
flat-out for all they are worth.
And as a director the good feeling I get watching you when you realize how
much YOU and your car meant not just to the other racers or even the
spectators but to the people we are here racing for to raise money for our
charities. The smile on their faces and the joy that we bring to so many
with the monies we raise that is just beyond words and so many racers I have
met over the 19 years I have been part of PVGPA, say the same thing I do "if
I could only do one event a year, this would be it)
So come be a part of this unique event. The biggest vintage spectacle in
United States (and yes I can say that because we run over two weekends and a
week of special events.
PVGPA events span the range of race cars on the track to the longest
continues running street race, some of the largest cars shows in the east,
Black Tie Gala, rally, Cruising and more. From Pre-War (and I mean WWI) to
2004 BMW racers PVGPA and its races cover it all.
So come on out and play - For more information and the latest breaking news

Thanks and see you there
