Morning
I rebuilt the engine about two years ago. I have been living with an oil
leak :-( For the '3a I have a Mocal adaptor. This image is off the
website ( https://www.mocal.co.uk/products-spinofffilteradapters.html ) and
is representational because the real one is the outer ring and the specific
inner ring.

Here are my questions :-)
1. It appears to leak between the filter head and the block. I checked the
flatness of the filter head and made sure it is good. Do I need to double
the gasket thickness? It was only a paper one.
2. The other leak is from the adaptor, mainly from the connection of the
outer ring to the filter head. Yes, the sealing rubber ring is there.
Has anyone had issues with this adaptor? And solved them? Did I miss
something stupid with the filter head to the block?
