[TR] TR3a gas tank

Is the outlet for the early tanks on the left side correct? ISTR the
easiest thing to do is to put an opening in the trunk in the middle and get
the later tank. BUT I will tell you if you get a new OE tank, put a liter
of gas in it, and rotate the tank to test the joints. I conducted this
test for two to three days. I have two tanks sitting in boxes that failed
this simple test by leaking past the welds. If I could have gotten an
aluminium tank ( thicker material ), I would have :-)

Just my experience
