[TR] 58 TR3a steering removal

Thread the nut back on until the steering tube is almost flush but still a bit recessed.  Then get a big hammer.
Seriously, a few modest whacks with a good size hammer whilst pulling on the wheel will break it loose and it will pull off.  Striking the nut will protect the end of the shaft and the threads.

Nice video (even though I don't have a TR3) the shot of the little screws holding the mechanism on, for the first time I understand why they call them "grub screws".
