[TR] TR5 screws/bolts

Would an oval head screw with a finishing washer be a better appearing alternative?

Subject says TR5, but in my 75 TR6 they appear to be a #6 or #8 pan head screw.  I didn't remove it all the way because it's too cold in the garage to mess with it if it won't go back.
