If you have a new, electronic version, unless it is specifically engineered for positive/negative ground, it will work in one direction only. And likely will blow if put in the wrong setting

The OE heated bimetal device is not polarity sensitive and would be connected the same in either positive or negative ground applications.

Can anyone tell me anything about the electrical connectors on a positive ground voltage stabilizer. For example on a negative ground voltage stabilizer, the “B” (battery) input is 2 male .250” push on tabs and the “I” (instrument) output is 2 female .250” push on tabs.
