Hello Allen,
Thank you very much for the kind works and complements of my work.
I enjoyed every minute during the 54 month project. I also enjoy the challenges involved with design and fabrication of special parts and components.
The engine is out for a refresh after 19 race events and 5,500 miles of street use.
The car finished every lap of every session of every race weekend. A perfect record.
I'm especially proud of that. The crank and rod bearings looked as new. The crank has been crack checked and polished. The valves and seats are being refreshed.
Cheers,
Dave H.

Turning it upward and I made an o-ring sealed fitting that fits tight in the block and welded the modified and turned up tube to it. Check out my Resto video for details. The tube can be longer then a flexible tube/hose can go to a can. The bigger the tube and hose the better. If the tube is longer and pointing upward then the oil will run back down to the block. Little if any will make it to the can.
