[TR] [6pack] TRF

This is a complex business transaction.

Simply put, Charles promised to purchase a life insurance policy to insure our investments, which turned out to not be true. I believe Charles thought the assets of his business and personal holdings would adequately cover our investments. Unfortunately, that turned out to be wrong.

Like most entrepreneurs, Charles was a dreamer. His dreams allowed many of us to further enjoy our spare time with our cars. I invested in TRF fully aware that my investment might not ever be repaid. Others may not have gone in with the same understanding.

We are much better off with two providers, TRF and Moss, rather than one. Don’t lose sight of that.

So, you can chose to be bitter over money lost, or rejoice that you are receiving 58 percent of your initial investment. I know this has been difficult for Albert, Deb and others. They need encouragement. I, for one, intend to give it to them.

Happy New Year.

And how do you propose Albert correct the wrongs of his father? 58% is better than 0%. At least Albert seems to be trying to make a bad situation better.

We were told the loans were secured by a life insurance policy. That was a lie

So the current employees and TRF owner are screwing people who knowingly made unsecured personal loans to Charles Runyon?

Just keep in mind that they are totally screwing all the investors who helped keep the business afloat all these years

I just put an order in with The Roadster Factory. I had read this morning that the business, the cars, the farm, the house and the restaurant had all been sold to settle outstanding debts. It turns out that Albert Runyan is the new owner and (according to the people I spoke to) it is business as normal.
