 How true.  Back in the day when they were expected to be primary transportation this was an issue.  But forty years later these cars are hobbies and for tech savvy owners part of the appeal is to make the improvements that the factory couldn't afford to do.  And take advantage of hindsight.  And take advantage of technological improvements that came along after these cars were produced.  And all this can be executed in a manner that preserves the character and driving experience intended by the builders in the first place.

I wish that article about the simply awful Stag would get lost. There are those of us who find  it a sweet car to drive and to look at, with the cooling issues easily attended to with aftermarket improvements.
