 i will pull as you suggestbut....southern california car. never driven in rain.5 years out of restoration.
best to check..but not thinking this is it.

 I agree with this comment. Pull the clip and rubber boot off the wheel cylinder to see if there is rust and corrosion. And yes, straight axle cars have only one hose, so that is probably not it.
