 i try not to use the brakes, but occasionally some bone head gets in the way

thanksi took the drum off 2 weekends ago.did not see any leakage.everything looked ok. springs in place, little taby things that hold the shoes in place still there.re-set the adjustment when i put things back.

This happened to me once.  It turned out that I had a leaking brake cylinder and the friction material on the shoes had become saturated with brake fluid.  I was surprised to learn that this will cause the shoes to lock onto the drum.  Check your master cylinder reservoir to see if you are losing fluid, then check the brake cylinder on the side that’s locking, for signs of leakage.

my rear left brake keeps locking up on me.

took the drum off last weekend and all looked good.

just took it for a run and ,,,,,,ugh. still locks up

any thoughts on where to look next?
