There is a smaller hole just above the harness hole and below the clutch master cylinder.  It is directly inline with the operator end of the cable under the dash.  I tried to take a picture but there are too many other things cluttering the image and this is one case where a picture isn't worth the dozen or so words it took to describe it.

Can someone tell me which firewall hole does the TR6 LHD hood release cable come out of.  Reinstalling after being on car for 10 years and don’t remember.  Through wiring harness grommet?
