Instead of a wire brush I have a brass wire wheel on my grinder that does a dandy job of cleaning hardware.

Yes. Not as nice as I would have expected, but sure saved a great deal of time over wire brushing bolts and especially washers and nuts.

has anyone used a tumbler to clean nuts and bolts?  i see eastwood and harbor freight both have them
