[TR] TR4 valve cover

My early TR4 (9,XXX) spits oil all over its nice chrome valve cover from the
breather cap

 

Is there anything I can do about it other than clean it often?

 

Btw it has 89 mm pistons, mild cam, polished/ported/shaved head, etc
