I used a Rostra on my TR4 and it works just fine. I've installed Rostra's
on two different motorhomes with great success as well. However on my TR6
I've installed an AP500 from Brandon Distributing (
https://www.manta.com/c/mmjjsgm/brandon-distributing-inc ). I saw one
installed on TR250 at one of the conventions and really liked it's
simplicity and smaller size.

When adding the cruise control you should order an OD escutcheon for the
steering column and use the OD switch opening for the cruise column
switch. I've use that escutcheon on my 64 Spitfire, TR4 and also the TR6
with the AP500.
