[TR] [NET] Wire terminations

While there are people that claim crimping is better that solder my personal experience is that too many planets (wire, connector, tool, technique) have to align for the perfect crimped connection and I too do the heat shrink over solder for things like spade and ring connectors. I also solder bullet connectors when I need to add or replace one.

Hey all ~
Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and were able to
spend some quality time with loved ones....
I've got a new wire harness for my TR3 in hand and was
wondering your thoughts for those wires not using bullet
connectors, (I'll likely use the bullet crimping tool from
British Wire for that). So, for wires requiring spades, rings,
etc. do you suggest soldering these terminals or is crimping
a better choice? If crimping, what tool have others found to
be reliable?
