[TR] Hi-torq starter

Kinda does matter; the early press-on ring gear is larger diameter than the
later bolt-on. And since the starter mounts in the same place, the pinion
gear needs to change to keep the right clearance with the larger or smaller
ring gear.

The change came when they switched original starter styles; the early
starter had a smaller shaft that was supported at both ends. The later
starter only supports the shaft at one end and in the middle, the drive
hangs out in space. So it needed a much beefier shaft, and the gear got
larger to fit on the larger shaft. Etc, etc.
