Thanks to you, Randall and to Irv for the quick responses. Putting in the reverse gate for the left-hand adjuster adjustment is what made most sense to me, but just wasn't sure. Also, thanks Randall for the text of the revised section of the ROM.

FWIW, I have a TR6 ROM with an update on that page.  They apparently added
the line to place the lever in the reverse gate before adjusting the LH peg.
