According to the Haynes Workshop Manual, the Rocker Pedestal torque setting is 24-26lbs.

No worries. As long as all four are equally tight/torqued you’re OK. Quite possibly that stud is longer or just not threaded as far into the head.

It doesn't really bother me, but I've noticed something odd about my engine; Of course there are four 9/16" nuts holding the rocker arm to the head. Initially all 4 nuts were tight, however, nut #4 (rear nut) was two or three threads higher on it's stud. It's okay that it's higher, right? In time, I intend on finding the torque value for all four nuts. Is this listed in the workshop manual?
