It doesn’t cost anything to change from positive to negative ground, but I personally think electronic ignition is a good idea (less moving parts to break).  

 

I think a lighter flywheel alone is unlikely to make much difference, but is worth it if you introduce a number of modifications aimed at improved performance (bigger pistons, ported head, exhaust header, etc., etc)

 Would people give me their input:

 

Low priced Might be a Petronics  ignition or changing  from positive ground to negative ground

 

 High-priced  might be a  lighter Fly wheel

 (Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I’m not concerned about originality)
