[TR] TR2 carpet set suggestions

I bought a Skinner carpet set about 15 years ago,  it has proven quite durable, (black) although it was a little stiff at first.I'm fairly sure I also got an underlayment padding set from them,  its a bit of work to install but does quiet things down a bit.Downside is that if the car gets soaked,  and you've glued in the underlayment,  getting it dried out is a bit of a chore.( don't ask how I know that....)      I've no idea if they are still using the same carpet supplier,  but I'm wholly satisfied with my old set.Bob Westerdale59 3A   TS36967

I'm wondering if anyone has had experience between the carpet sets from John Skinner (from England) and sets from TRF?

i agree with the rubber flooring. My TR2 had rubber on the floor and carpet on the tunnel only.  And those plugs on the floor arent really for the jack, they are water drain holes 😝

Carpet selection has me confused.   We all know it will get wet and it will need to get removed to dry it out.   So for me Wool is not a good idea, has anyone had experience with the tufted synthetic carpet set from TRF?  Does it look totally different than Wilton wool?  Are there better "Wilton wool" substitutes out there? My car ice blue and the interior will be geranium color  as original  -   Does anyone have a good reference for geranium color for vinyl and carpet? The seat covers which I bought from TRF several years ago (kept in plastic bag out of the sun)  are a rather bright shade of red....  I'm worried I've got a bad color match here. On the TRF site -- for carpet they offer  a bright red or a dark red -- which one?
