[TR] Type A Overdrive Notched Oil Plug

I confess, I've seen this topic before.  I also confess to having a memory that, while not rusted, has considerable patina.  Immeasurably attractive patina, I should add modestly.

What again are the various methods to tighten the notched plug, without using the BFH?  

Note:  I do have the notched socket from one of the Big Three but I've about given up on trying to hold it in place while tightening.  Slips off every time, maybe because the nodules on the socket designed to fit into the plug notches are too short....at least for my ten thumbs.

Oh, and I note that a replacement notched plug from Moss goes for $114.  Rather glad I don't need one, since mine doesn't appear warped and not currently leaking.
