Problem is either electrical, timing, or fuel. Easy first check is timing. Check where Top Dead Center is realtive to the timing mark on the crank pully. Should be several degrees advanced (other can give the exact number). Second check is whether the carbs are running rich or lean. The Big Three sell a color check for this, where you substitute a spark plug in one or two cylinder, then three/four. My way out there first guess is it's running rich. Third, check the wiring to the cylinders, starting with the spark plug wires. Is each spark plug wire firmly on the plug? Move back through the distributor to look at points, condenser and cap. Good luck and have fun, because keeping these cars running is half the fun of having them!
