If you are handy, or have friends that are, Those stator tubes are nothing but 3/8 O.D. hydraulic tubing. The tubing used by Triumph had a .035 wall thickness. For the standard steering wheel, you need to put a 3/32 wide slot by 1 7/8 long in one side at one end. The only thing you will be missing are the two "lantern cage" anti rattle devices spaced along its length.

Subject: [TR] TR3A Stator tubes available?
Historically, replacement stator tubes that run from the steering control head to the end of the steering box have been unobtainable. The Roadster Factory lists them as "Not yet available" and when questioned, they didn't know when they'd be available. Anyone out there have a source anyone with an extra?
