[TR] turns on the right

 Interesting.  This places the overdrive switch in approximately the same location as the OD switch on the TR3 but it puts the turn signal switch on the opposite side as where it is found on your typical 'meracan car.  That would keep me confused.

For those of you who asked whether the diagram I was referring to was a RHD car, or that I had spent too much time inhaling fumes in my garage, here is the diagram I was referring to:  OD on left, turn signals on the right.
