[TR] Another TR4 wiring question

 I can't speak for your car but my TR3 and my TR6 both have two lamps in each.  I fully expected the TR4 to fit that mold.  But who knows what modifications were made by the PO.

Thank you for the  three or so people who have suggested this.  Maybe you are right, but the speedo and tach I have just take one each.  Having said that, this car has quite the pedigree.  I think I will send its oil off for a 23 and me analysis !!

Maybe the original TR4 speedo and tach did take 2 each ?

Sorry – but this is my first TR4…….

 

The wiring diagram I have shows EIGHT “panel illumination lamps” all wired in parallel.  Eight?  One each for the small gauges, speedometer and tach  makes six  (high beam, ignition and turn signals are separate).

 

Any reason for the diagram to show eight?  Am I missing something?
