I agreed 122% 😊  “if” I could take off the head and “if” I could get both machined then yeap I would do that and be assured of the precise fit.  SWMBO would kill me of course.  As for the divots you mention, they are there.  Here is me thinking that they were by design.  Ok off comes the manifold this weekend and sealant added.
